課程概述

NOTE: The lecturer will be Prof. Takeo Inami, Visiting Professor of NTU Physics.
The information on this page is subject to change in the near future.

We will mostly use the textbook of Konishi and Paffuti on selected topics that are not covered in the previous semester, and there may be additional materials added.

課程目標
Students are expected to become familiar with basic concepts of quantum mechanics and basic techniques, including approximation methods, in solving problems in quantum mechanics.
課程要求
Before taking this course, students are expected to have the background knowledge equivalent to Quantum Mechanics I. Full attendance of lectures is not required although encouraged. The course demands great efforts in study and discussion.

Office Hours
另約時間 備註: The lecturer will be in his office or some other place at 8th floor basically most of the time in the week. He will be very happy to meet and have discussions/conversations with the students anytime, except for the the time when he is engaged in seminars and discussions with colleague researchers.

Examination in the end of the semester
40%
There will be no mid-term examination.
2.
Exercise classes
