課程概述 |
NOTE: The lecturer will be Prof. Takeo Inami, Visiting Professor of NTU Physics.
The information on this page is subject to change in the near future.
We will mostly use the textbook of Konishi and Paffuti on selected topics that are not covered in the previous semester, and there may be additional materials added. |
課程目標 |
Students are expected to become familiar with basic concepts of quantum mechanics and basic techniques, including approximation methods, in solving problems in quantum mechanics. |
課程要求 |
Before taking this course, students are expected to have the background knowledge equivalent to Quantum Mechanics I. Full attendance of lectures is not required although encouraged. The course demands great efforts in study and discussion. |

說明 |
1. |
Examination in the end of the semester |
40% |
There will be no mid-term examination. |
2. |
Exercise classes |
30% |
Students are asked to solve the problems during the exercise classes,
not necessarily all problems, and to write the answers on the blackboards.
Everybody is encouraged to write answers once or twice during the semester. |
3. |
Activity during the class |
30% |
Asking questions, answering to the teacher’s questions and giving one’s own opinions. There may be other kinds of activity, which students could propose. |
